ACHRO/EEO Regional Representation

ACHRO/EEO supports Human Resources and Equal Employment Opportunity professionals throughout the California Community College system. To ensure localized networking, collaborative problem‑solving, and strong statewide alignment, the organization is divided into regional groups. Each region brings together HR and EEO practitioners to share best practices, coordinate training, and elevate diversity, equity, and compliance efforts across their districts.

Bay 10 Region

The Bay 10 region includes community colleges across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Colleges in this region collaborate on advancing equitable hiring, refining EEO practices, training HR teams, and sharing regional policy insights.

  • Jennifer Druley, Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at Chabot Las Positas Community College District

Central 14 Region

Central 14 represents colleges in California’s Central Valley and surrounding inland communities.
 
Representatives:
  • David Betts, Vice President of Human Resources and Employee Relations at Monterey Peninsula Community College District
  • Kelly Avila, Vice President of Human Resources at Merced College

North 14 Region

Northern 14 encompasses community colleges located throughout the northern region of California.

Representatives:

  • Charo Albarran, Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Human Resources at Napa Valley College
  • Dr. Marianne Williams, Associate Vice President of Human Resources at Shasta College

Southern 30 Region

Southern 30 is the largest and most diverse region, encompassing community colleges from Los Angeles County through Orange County, Inland Empire, and into San Diego/Imperial.
